No No Hair Removal System Review – All About No No Hair

I finally got round to documenting my honest No No hair removal review on my site for everybody to read. Despite all of the hype and the always over the top TV commercials on the No No Hair Removal system, I did find some positive reviews so decided to try the product for myself to see whether it really did live up to the claims it made – Let’s see whether it really could rid of me of these really annoying arm hairs that I’d been stressing over for most of my adult life!

Now I’ve got to be honest most of the reviews I saw online were just people who were promoting the product and bagging a commision for each sale from their fake assesment of the No No Hair remover without ever having used it!

I’m going to give you my honest account as a user – The good, the bad and the ugly on the No No Hair 8800!

Now let’s be honest, I had an older version of the No No Hair and they weren’t very good at all. Not too effective for reducing hair and the fact that you couldn’t use them on your face probably sucked for most people because it’s a common problem area for men and women alike.

Anyway, that almost put me off of the No No Hair System..even when I’d heard they brought out their latest version (The NoNo 8800), I didn’t even bat an eyelid until a friend mentioned that she’d had pretty good results with it. I had a look at her results and sure enough she’d seen a pretty drastic reduction in hair on her chosen area.

Well, the skeptic in me still wasn’t sure so I went online to find some other reviews. Most of the ones I saw were at least between 3-5 stars with positive reviews. I was really tempted to take the plunge at this point but I was still skeptical.

Finally after much research, I actually found a secret way to try one before I actually decided whether I wanted to make the full investment

I was pretty excited when I saw the mailman arrive a few days later with a parcel for me. It was pretty small – Smaller than I expected but I quickly got the NoNo Hair out of the box and decided pretty much to get started straight away (After a quick glance of the instructions of course! But I found it to be pretty easy to use)

Here are the results I saw and documented over a 2 month period for my No No Hair Removal review :-

Weeks 1 + 2 : I got started using the NoNo as described. Once every few days..around twice a week, sometimes 3 times a week but that was rarely necessary as it works more effectively on hair at least 1mm in length. I like the light that guides you as you use the product, makes things easier. I don’t know if anything has happened yet. My hair maybe a little finer but that could be in my head. I have noticed that it leaves an unpleasant smell of burnt hair or something of the sort.

Weeks 3 + 4 : Ok so I’ve started seeing results finally towards the end of the 4th week (I must give the No No credit as they do mention it could take a while) – The regrowth of my hairs are definitely much finer and barely visible. I’m far less bothered by them..and if it means I have to put up with that wierd smell for a few minutes then this will be worth it.

Weeks 5 + 6 : Well my arms are looking much clearer and my skin is far smoother than it used to be. I actually don’t need to use the No No Hair as much anymore. I use it 1x a week at the moment for maintenance. There are still a TINY amount of hairs but like I said they are barely visible.

Weeks 7+8 : I’m actually really pleased at the end of week 8. The No No Hair 8800 is a much improved machine compared to older models and my results have been far better than with previous models. The hairs on my arms are all but gone and I’m far more comfortable revealing my arms to the world without constantly thinking about them! I will keep using the NoNo once a week for maintenance though as although it’s scouted as being a permanent solution, hair can grow back in 3-6 months so using the machine once a week won’t kill me to stop this from happening.

Overall I’m surprisingly really satisfied with this little machine! I thought it would be useless like the old models but the newer version is excellent and also has the added benefit of being able to be used on the face! A great bonus.

The bad point is the smell it leaves but you get used to it and learn to deal with it as it’s gone within minutes.

After my No No Hair Removal review I can honestly recommend this to any girl or guy who wants to replace their paranoia about a hairy bodypart with confidence about that same bodypart! With the release of the new No No 8800, people think that No No Hair Removal is a new kid on the block, however the brand have been around for a while attempting to win the audience for hair removal.

I’m not here to lie, up until the No No 8800 the previous older models that NoNo released were not up to scratch and did not do a very good job for hair removal! I’m talking from personal experience here and if you look at many of the old No No Hair Removal system reviews, they are less than flattering!

Another bad point about the old NoNo’s was the fact that they were not suitable for use on the face which is where most women will want to use the product considering it’s commonly the most embaressing spot that hair can grow on a woman! So the old versions were pretty useless in my opinion.

Luckily, the new Thermicon technology they’ve added with the new 8800 model means that it can now be safely used on the face. Something that there was a massive demand for! Luckily No No Hair listened to the demand from the crowd and the new model was released.

The theory behind No No Hair removal is by using Thermicon technology the small machine can send small heat pulses to the root of the hairs everytime it is used to considerably weaken them. Eventually the roots become so weak that the hair either doesn’t grow or is so fine that it is barely noticeable. Although the theory is that with continued use you won’t see any hairs come back (a really light maintenance schedule is required for this to happen though)

Using the No No 8800 around twice a week for 3 months is said to achieve considerable results (and I agreed in my honest no no hair removal system reviews). Using the product any more than that is not really recommended as the hairs should ideally be at least 1mm for it to have more benefit on the roots. After you’ve achieved the desired results, a light maintenance schedule of around once a week or every other week is advised. This is easy and takes me a few minutes a week. Well worth it for the results I achieved.

So now you know the history behind the NoNo as well as the technology it uses to rid you of your unwanted hair, it’s up to you whether you want to take the plunge and go ahead to give the product a go.

No No hair removal is the latest craze in home beauty treatments for those who want to remove unwanted hair from the comfort of their own home but also not have to consistently pay for expensive visits and treatments.

But a question that was constantly on my mind before wanting to try the product was, “How does it compare to the best treatments you can get from the beauty therapists?” – Currently the most common practice is laser treatments and these can get really expensive considering you need many visits to the beautician for this to actually produce results.

You’re looking at 10-12 visits for permanent results and the time must be spaced out to give your skin time to recover between each treatment.

The No No hair removal system claims to also be similar in the sense that it takes a while for the results to become permanent – Around 3 months is the time-frame given. This is still faster than laser treatment and also it can be used on the skin far more often than laser treatments can because of it’s milder nature. Not to mention the No No hair removal product is far cheaper than going in for regular laser treatments!

So the No No hair removal system seems to have some potential! But we’re not interested in “potential”, we’re interested in results so how does No No Hair fare? (I’m a poet and didn’t know it!)

Without going into too much detail, the No No 8800 (which is the latest model) fares really well in my personal experience. I did use the old models and have to admit I wasn’t impressed at all which almost made me completely turn my back on any new releases but after I saw a friends results with it I decided to give it a go. They have definitely got it right with the No No 8800 model.

The new thermicon technology works by sending heat pulses into the root of the hair to gently kill and remove the hair. As more and more treatments are applied, the root gets weaker and weaker which means the hairs also get finer/thinner.

It worked for me just as described and within the 3 month timeframe given, my hairs were barely noticeable they were so fair and thin. I pretty much have no hair at all now but I do keep up the odd treatment with the No No Hair removal as recommended in the manual. This maintenance allows the hairs to be removed permanently. Maintenance is easy. You can do it once every week or every other week and it doesn’t take long because there is barely any hair there.

So in comparision to laser treatments, it is a winner because you don’t pay an extortionate fee for each treatment – You only pay a one off price for the No No 8800 and it is very good value. Results are seen faster and can be used more often than laser treatment. Also there are no side effects with the No No, you just get a funky smell that occurs from the Thermicon technology heating up the root of your hair but you get used to this quickly. With laser there is a chance that skin pigmentation can occur and some users report that it can be slightly painful if you’re not used to it.

Overall, the No No has laser treatment beaten in every department and the amazing thing is that it’s all in the comfort of your own home. For me that was a big selling point (and the fact my friends results looked so promising!)

I’d definitely give the No No 8800 a try. Because I was so skeptical I actually didn’t want to buy the 8800 initially but after a bit of research I found a way to get a free trial! If you’re anything like me, then you’re very skeptical of the online world. Anybody can claim to be who they want to be with no way of telling if somebody is being truthful or not. The same can be said for products and I’d already used an older model of the No No hair removal system and got burned (not literally – excuse the pun!)

I didn’t see much difference if any at all from using it for a few months as instructed. To be frank the old models were the dumps!

I pretty much turned my back on the NoNo line of products until a friend of mine approached me with one and was really excited to show me what she’d done to her underarms with the No No Hair removal system. The hairs were much finer and barely visible..I know she used to moan about that area growing quickly but it was taking far longer and coming back far lighter.

She peeked my interest with her results and I enquired further – She revealed that this was the newest model. The No No Hair 8800 model which apparently used some newer technology that she couldn’t think of.

Being the ultimate skeptic I went home that night to find out exactly what this new technology was and how it worked to remove hair.

Here’s what I found out about the how the No No Hair Removal system works :

It uses trademarked technology called Thermicon – That didn’t mean anything to me so I looked a little further. I found that it was a technology that basically used heat to remove the hairs and sends that same heat technology to the root of the hair.

It’s actually quite similar to laser treatment but without the dangers that some skin colours and types can experience with laser treatments – Thermicon technology seems to be safe for every single skin type which is a great bonus.

So what does this mean for us? Well it means that the heat removes the hair and effects the root which will progressively weaken it. Hence why regrowths are much finer and lighter. Weaker, in fact because their root has been exposed to heat. Over time the root gets weaker and weaker which means the hair also gets finer and finer until it stops growing.

Another plus point of this technology is that it is pain free – Many hair removal techniques inflict huge amounts of pain on the user and visits to get hair removed can become a nightmare! Apparently not with this Thermicon technology. My friend also mentioned that it was pain free. (I also found it to be painless when I finally took the plunge. The last and perhaps the most convincing reason that it works is that many medical studies have actually been done to prove that the technology works. It is very rare than any product that makes such bold claims bother to go through clinical studies so I do commend the 8800 for taking that risk.
